NH Bar News recently published “Workers’ Comp & Personal Injury: Opioids and the Injured Worker: Collaboration that Could Save Lives”, written by Gary S. Harding, in their August 17th, 2016 edition. The article discusses the opioid epidemic, the use of opioids as a treatment for chronic pain resulting from injuries sustained at work, and how insurance carriers and doctors should work together to ensure opioid therapy decreases pain, increases functionality, and progress is sufficiently demonstrated.
